Quick TakeConquer Demonic Waves in Horde Mode!New · Fixed

DOOM Eternal's 6.66 patch ships Horde Mode, a new single-player wave-survival mode that sends you through three missions from the base game and The Ancient Gods with no checkpoints and a starting pool of three extra lives. You unlock weapons progressively each Arena Round and chase leaderboard scores across difficulty tiers, with Slayer Medals for hitting 400,000 points. BATTLEMODE gets its biggest overhaul yet, adding ranked series progression, two new arenas (Corrosion and Stronghold), and the Dread Knight as a playable demon with double-jump, a redirectable Quantum Orb, and a Berserk melee mode. Nintendo Switch players also get three new Master Levels: Taras Nabad, Mars Core, and The World Spear.

  • New: Horde Mode, three-mission wave survival with no checkpoints and unlockable weapons per round.
  • New: Dread Knight playable demon in BATTLEMODE 2.0 with Energy Wave, Ground Slam, and Quantum Orb attacks.
  • New: Corrosion and Stronghold BATTLEMODE arenas.
  • New: BATTLEMODE 2.0 ranked series, hot streaks, and per-platform Leaderboards.
  • New: Three Master Levels for Switch (Taras Nabad, Mars Core, The World Spear).
  • Fixed: Several BATTLEMODE and Campaign bugs including Archvile Flame Wall blocking Marauder, Revenant jetpack framerate issue, and armor drop collision.
