Gameplay Enhancements and Bug Fixes in Title Update #6

Title Update #6 is now available for EA SPORTS FC 24. This update includes gameplay enhancements, new Ultimate Team items, and bug fixes.

  • Updated: Ultimate Team with new Player Items and fixes for Centurion ICONs bios and match entry.
  • Fixed: Midfield congestion, sideline pressure, and goalkeeper movement speed and positioning.
  • Fixed: Strikers and wide midfielders marking, AI wingback track back speed, and header/finesse shot accuracy.
  • Fixed: Defenders not tracking runs and penalty kick goalkeeping issues.
  • New: Winter-themed main menu, eEuros XI team, Diogo Jota Triangle celebration, and updated player heads/kits.
  • Reduced midfield congestion.
  • Reduced sideline pressure on attackers.
  • Decreased manual goalkeeper movement speed and positioning.
  • More offensive-minded wingbacks in 3 and 5 at the back formations.

Ultimate Team

  • Added 94 Player Items to Ultimate Team, available following a squad update.
  • Fixed issues like Centurion ICONs bios displaying incorrectly and squads with the Carlos Tévez Manager Item not entering matches.

Gameplay

  • Strikers and wide midfielders are less aggressive when marking central attackers.
  • Reduced pressure on players along the sidelines.
  • Lowered track back speed of AI teammate wingbacks.
  • Reduced goalkeeper movement speed and adjusted their positioning after using Move Goalkeeper input.
  • Reduced header shot and finesse shot accuracy for players with specific PlayStyles.
  • Fixed issues including defenders not tracking attacker runs and goalkeepers not attempting saves for penalty kicks aimed at the goal's middle.

Clubs

  • Fixed instances of Playoffs matches not being counted correctly.

General

  • Refreshed the main menu with winter-themed effects.
  • Added the eEuros XI team to Kick off and Online Friendlies.
  • Added a new signature celebration for Diogo Jota, the Triangle celebration.
  • Updated player and manager star heads, UI elements, out-of-match scenes, kits, and more.
  • Fixed various Skill Game issues and stability problems.
