This hotfix patches monster rarity in Grand Expeditions and standardizes Soul Eater skill speed. If you farm Expeditions or fight enemies with Soul Eater, you'll notice correct difficulty now.
You run Grand Expeditions or want the exact numbers on Soul Eater changes
Gameplay impact
Grand Expedition monsters lost a hidden 50% increased rarity per remnant, this is now only available via the Gaining Traction Atlas passive (currently displays 25% but gives 50%). Some Soul Eater stacks incorrectly gave 5% skill speed per stack; now always 1%.
Action
If you want the extra monster rarity in Expeditions, allocate Gaining Traction on the Atlas tree. No other action needed.
What changed
Fixed: Sulphite Stalagmites, Kin Totems, and Dormant Burrower now correctly apply rarity and Monster Potency in Grand Expeditions.
Removed: hidden 50% increased Monster Rarity per Remnant completed in area modifier from Grand Expeditions.
Moved: the same 50% increased rarity per Remnant effect is now on the Gaining Traction Expedition Atlas passive (currently shows 25% due to a visual bug).
Fixed: all Soul Eater stacks now grant 1% increased skill speed per stack, down from 5% in some bugged instances.
