Halo Infinite's August 2023 update adds the Dredge arena map, new Forge tools, death cam and Observer mode upgrades, and dozens of bug fixes across Campaign, Multiplayer, and Forge.

  • New: Dredge, a Forge-built arena map based on Countdown from Halo: Reach, arrives in Custom Games and matchmaking, with a limited "Dredge 24/7" playlist running through August 22, 2023.
  • New: Reactive Water Plane Forge object responds dynamically to player collision, projectiles, and vehicles; Forge menus now support collapsible sub-menus for cleaner navigation.
  • New: Personal AI Chatter toggle in Settings lets players enable or mute their Personal AI during multiplayer matches.
  • Updated: Death cam gains camera rotation and faster player swapping; Observer mode adds announcer audio and Event Feed Background Mode plus Opacity controls.
  • Fixed: Bugs across Campaign, Multiplayer gameplay, menus, Theater, Customization, and Forge, including Fireteam BTB visibility, Extermination medal availability, and numerous Forge object physics issues.
