November 2022 Achievements Update & Class Fixes

Achievements

  • Fixed an issue where Bronze Timelock requirements listed the incorrect achievement.
  • Fixed an issue where Possessive Hornswog was not granting credit towards Adventurer of The Waking Shores.

Adventure Mode

  • Fixed an issue where players in Adventure Mode were unable to use the portal to Valdrakken until they completed the campaign in the Azure Span.

Classes

  • Fixed an issue that caused Cleanse Toxins, Purify Disease, and Detox (Windwalker/Brewmaster Monk) to not go on cooldown correctly.

      • Fixed an issue with Tightening Grasp granting 10% increased damage instead of the intended 5%.
    • Frost
      • Fixed an issue where Avalanche would not always deal damage when Howling Blast consumes Rime.
  • Demon Hunter

      • Fixed an issue that caused Spirit Bomb to apply an additional application of Frailty to the Demon Hunter's current target, regardless of distance.
  • Druid
    • Balance
      • Fixed an issue where Starlord could not reach 3 stacks.
    • Guardian
      • Fixed an issue where Tireless Pursuit would not be applied after leaving Travel Form.
  • Paladin
    • Fixed an issue causing Sanctified Ground to incorrectly persist.
  • Warlock
    • Demonology
      • Fixed an issue where Guillotine could be cast without a Felguard active.
      • Fixed an issue where Wrathguard was not correctly applying Infernal Command.

Dungeons and Raids

  • The Azure Vault
    • Conjured Lasher's Mystic Vapors periodic damage reduced by 50%.
  • Halls of Infusion
    • Primal Tsunami
      • Fixed an issue that could cause the boss to not be lootable if defeated right when the intermission begins.

Items and Rewards

  • Fixed an issue where the leather Renown transmog set was available to all specializations.
  • Dragonriding mount items can now be safely destroyed as characters who have completed the quests that grant these items will learn the mount upon relogging in.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused players to not earn credit for the Dragonriding Glyph at Scalecracker Peak.
  • Fixed an issue where Expedition Scout's Pack was spawning below the terrain in the Waking Shores.

Player versus Player

  • Fixed an issue that caused NPCs in level 61-70 battlegrounds to have more health and deal more damage than intended.
  • Classes
    • Mage
      • Fixed an issue where Frost Bomb could have incorrect targeting.
  • War Mode
    • Fixed an issue where War Mode world quests were awarding players incorrect gear for their proficiency.
  • Solo Shuffle
    • Resolved an issue that prevented characters from interacting with a Warlock's Demonic Gateway in subsequent rounds.

Quests

  • Fixed an issue where climbing world quests were not awarding the correct amount of reputation.
  • The Priest Class Hall mount quest "The Sunken Vault" is functional again, but in a diminished state. Players can complete the quest, but the NPC will offer little commentary and the enemies no resistance. The quest will return to its original state in a future patch.
  • The Azure Span
    • Fixed an issue where players were unable to craft a Fishing Net for "Iskaaran Fishing Net" if it was abandoned.
  • Ohn'ahran Plains
    • "Orientation: Maruukai" now correctly shares quest credit with all group members.
    • Fixed an issue where Hypoxicron was landing mid-air during "Proto Problems."
    • Being in stealth will no longer cause issues during "Reign of the Ram."
    • Fixed an issue where the Raging Torrent boss was not scaling properly during "Trial of the Flood."
    • Fixed an issue where the bonus quest was not appearing for the rare enemy, Ronsak the Decimator.
  • Thaldraszus
    • Fixed an issue where Pandaren, Troll, and Undead characters are sometimes unable to progress in "Feels Like the First Time."
    • South Hold Guardians will no longer continue to give out their signets after "Remember the Fallen" is completed.
    • The Scythid prowling the Chittering Caverns will no longer only be encountered at level 70 for the quest "Scythid Gloomhunter."

Reputation

  • Cobalt Assembly
    • Lowered the drop chance for Cobalt Assembly reputation across all enemies.

User Interface and Accessibility

  • Fixed an issue where saved Edit Mode layouts could disappear.

Achievements

  • Fixed an issue where some players were not correctly receiving the Shadowlands Season 4 Shrouded Hero title and achievement.

      • Fixed an issue where Leeching Strike was not healing as intended.
  • Priest
    • Fixed an issue causing Shadowfiend to not grant Mana for Holy and Discipline specializations.

Creatures and NPCs

  • Cauldronbearer Blakor's Molten Pour effect reduced to 1 minute.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Shadowlands dungeons now properly appear in the Dungeon Finder during the Shadowlands Timewalking Campaign.
  • The Nokhud Offensive
    • Granyth
      • Fixed an issue that could cause the Dragonkiller Lances to fire twice.
      • Fixed an issue where casting Mind Control or Dominate Mind on Nokhud Saboteurs would cause them to become unresponsive.
    • Teera and Maruuk
      • Fixed an issue causing the Ancestors' Treasure Trove awarded after the encounter ends to sometimes not be lootable.
    • Balakar Khan
      • Fixed an issue where Rending Strike was being cast during Phase 2.

Items and Rewards

  • Seltherex in Valdrakken now sells Honor gear. This gear is currently upgradable to rank 3 (item level 353) and will be able to be upgraded to rank 5 when Season 1 begins.
  • Fixed an issue where uncommon bind-on-equip items in dungeons were incorrectly appearing as rare quality.
  • Yellow War Ottuk and Yellow Scouting Ottuk now correctly display in the Mount Journal.
  • Addressed several weapons that were dealing less damage than intended.
  • Shadowlands Season 4 Tokens of Merit have been reduced to poor quality and will still sell for 500 gold.

Professions

  • Fixed multiple issues that caused Find Minerals and Find Herbs to behave erratically on the Dragon Isles.
  • Fixed an issue where the Frozen Writ weapon enchant effect was not correctly triggering.
  • Fixed an issue where the Sophic Writ weapon enchant effect was triggering too frequently.
  • Fixed an issue where you could skin some enemies that were not intended to be skinned.

Quests

  • The Waking Shores
    • Fixed an issue where "Dragon Glyphs and You" could not be completed.
    • Fixed an issue where Bothersome Bees would sometimes attack players while invisible during "Leave Bee Alone."
    • Fixed an issue where players could not interact with Majordomo Selistra to complete "Proto-Fight.""
    • Fixed an issue where there were no visible points of interest map indicators for "Rapid Fire Plans.""
    • Fixed an issue where killing enemies while riding Osoria during "Hands Off Operation" would not provide credit for the quest.
  • Ohn'ahran Plains
    • Fixed an issue where the spear and bow quest items were not dropping for "The Nokhud Offensive: Founders Keepers.""
  • Thaldraszus
    • Fixed an issue where the point of interest map indicators were not updating correctly for "Eyes and Ears" and "Nowhere to Hide.""
    • Fixed an issue where faction changing could send you to the incorrect starting area during "Feels Like the First Time."
    • Fixed an issue where "The Flow of Time" would not progress on clients using non-English languages.

      • [With weekly restarts] Burning Wound's Immolation Aura damage bonus reduced to 40% (was 50%).
      • [With weekly restarts] Know Your Enemy critical damage bonus reduced to 40/80% of your critical strike chance (was 50/100%).
      • [With weekly restarts] Any Means Necessary damage bonus for affected skills reduced to 80% of your Mastery: Demonic Presence bonus (was 100%).

      • Fixed an issue that prevented Charred Flesh from benefitting from its second rank.
      • Fixed an issue that prevented the global cooldown incurred by Soul Carver from being correctly modified by Haste.

      • Fixed an issue that caused Lifebloom's bloom to not be increased by Mastery while talented into Budding Leaves.

      • Fixed an issue that caused Disintegrate to not fully benefit from Iridescence: Blue if two Disintegrate casts were chained together.
      • Fixed an issue where Burnout could trigger more often than intended with certain talent combinations.
  • Mage
    • Fixed an issue that caused Ignite to spread to targets under the effects of crowd control.
  • Monk
    • Windwalking, Close to Heart, and Generous Pour should no longer fail to reapply in certain very uncommon circumstances.

    • [With weekly restarts] Of Dusk and Dawn has been adjusted:
      • Blessing of Dawn now increases damage and healing by 5% (was 6%) and duration increased to 20 seconds (was 15 seconds).
      • Blessing of Dusk duration increased to 20 seconds (was 15 seconds).
      • Seal of Order now increases the healing and damage of your Holy Power spending abilities by 8% during Blessing of Dawn (was 10%).
    • Protection
      • [With weekly restarts] Word of Glory healing increased by 40%.
      • [With weekly restarts] Light of the Titans healing increased by 40%.
      • Fixed an issue causing Moment of Glory to only trigger from auto-attacks.
      • Fixed an issue where Blessed Hammer's damage reduction was not applying correctly.
      • Fixed an issue causing Grand Crusader to trigger at a rate higher than intended.
      • [With weekly restarts] Fixed an issue with Righteous Protector's interaction with free casts from Divine Purpose, Shining Light, and Bastion of Light.

      • Fixed an issue causing Divine Aegis to consume damage buffs from Twilight Equilibrium.
      • Fixed an issue causing a queued Penance to not grant Harsh Discipline following a Smite cast that would normally have granted the buff.
      • [With weekly restarts] The duration of the Harsh Discipline buff effect has been increased to 30 seconds (was 15 seconds).

      • Fixed an issue that prevented Envenom from consuming Amplifying Poison if it had exactly 10 stacks.
      • Fixed an issue that prevented Rupture's duration from benefiting from Animacharged combo points (via Echoing Reprimand) when casting Rupture on an enemy afflicted by Deathmark.
      • Fixed an issue that prevented Deathmark's effect from being displayed on enemy nameplates.
      • Fixed an issue that prevented some weapon poisons from being applied at a guaranteed rate by Poisoned Knife.
    • Outlaw
      • Fixed an issue with the tooltip of Restless Blades which incorrectly had Sepsis listed as an affected ability.
      • [With weekly restarts] Dispatch damage reduced by 5%.
      • [With weekly restarts] Dreadblades duration reduced to 8 seconds (was 10 seconds) and Energy cost reduced to 40 (was 50).
    • Subtlety
      • Fixed an issue that prevented Silent Storm's buff from being consumed by Shuriken Storm when cast via Shuriken Tornado.
      • Fixed an issue where Shadow Dance's recast cooldown was always 8 seconds, regardless of its duration. Recast cooldown now correctly matches duration.
      • Fixed an issue that prevented Shadow damage dealt by Secret Technique's Shadow Clones from being correctly modified by talents that increase Shadow damage.
  • Warlock
    • Fixed an issue where Inquisitor's Gaze would not attack dummies.
    • Demonology
      • Fixed an issue where Grimoire: Felguard would not correctly apply 5 applications of Fel Sunder.
  • Warrior
    • Arms
      • [With weekly restarts] Seasoned Soldier now also grants 10% reduced damage to area effect damage.
      • [With weekly restarts] Battlelord now also increases the damage of Overpower by 25% at all times.
      • [With weekly restarts] Martial Prowess increases the damage of Mortal Strike by 30% per stack (was 25%).
      • [With weekly restarts] Exhilarating Blows chance to reset Mortal Strike or Cleave increased to 20% (was 15%).
      • [With weekly restarts] Fatal Mark damage increased by 20%.
      • [With weekly restarts] Fueled by Violence now heals for 65% of the damage dealt by deep wounds (was 50%).
      • [With weekly restarts] Mortal Strike damage increased by 3.5%.
    • Fury
      • Onslaught's Rage generation reduced to 25 (was 30) but it is now again correctly affected by Recklessness causing it to generate 50 Rage while under Recklessness.
      • Odyn's Fury's damage over time effect no longer incorrectly displays for other players on nameplates.
    • Protection
      • Fixed an issue that prevented Unnerving Focus from affecting several abilities.
      • Brace for Impact's tooltip clarified to state it increases block value rather than percentage amount blocked.
      • Enduring Alacrity now correctly modifies your Armor.
      • Focused Vigor now correctly modifies your Armor.
      • [With weekly restarts] Execute damage increased by 30%.

Player versus Player

  • Several spells that were persisting between Solo Shuffle rounds will now be cleared properly.
  • Rogue
    • [With weekly restarts] Recuperator effectiveness is no longer reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
    • [With weekly restarts] Echoing Reprimand damage is no longer reduced by 50% in PvP combat.
    • [With weekly restarts] Reverberation damage is no longer reduced by 33% in PvP combat.
    • Outlaw
      • [With weekly restarts] Killing Spree damage is no longer reduced by 20% in PvP combat.
      • [With weekly restarts] Pistol Shot damage is no longer reduced by 16% in PvP combat.
    • Subtlety
      • [With weekly restarts] Mastery: Executioner effectiveness is no longer reduced by 20% in PvP combat.
