Overwatch 2 Retail Patch Notes version 2023-10-31 introduce the LE SSERAFIM limited-time event and hero balance updates.

  • New: LE SSERAFIM x Overwatch 2 event with Concert Clash mode, available from November 1.
  • Updated: Endorsement level decay reworked, new Legendary/Mythic/Ultimate Player Title challenges, and Progression Level shown on Victory Pose.
  • Buff: D.Va movement penalty reduced and projectile speed increased; Doomfist wall stun duration decreased.
  • Nerf: Cassidy's Magnetic Grenade cooldown increased; Mei's Endothermic Blaster slow reduced; Ana's Biotic Grenade cooldown increased; Baptiste's Immortality Field health decreased and cooldown increased.
  • Fixed: General audio, Hero Mastery, and map fixes (Antarctic Peninsula, New Junk City, Route 66, Samoa).

Overwatch 2 Retail Patch Notes – October 31, 2023

LE SSERAFIM x OVERWATCH 2 LIMITED TIME EVENT

Overwatch 2 teams up with K-pop sensation, LE SSERAFIM. Play Concert Clash, a 3v3 capture-the-flag mode in a K-pop themed Busan. Available from November 1, at 11:00 AM PDT.

GENERAL UPDATES

ENDORSEMENTS

Endorsement level decay reworked to be more forgiving. Level decay reduced based on the percentage of players who could not endorse you.

CHALLENGES

Added Legendary, Mythic, and Ultimate Player Title challenges to each hero's progression challenges.

PROGRESSION

Victory Pose now shows your Progression Level instead of the Hero Level.

SOCIAL FEATURES

Default options for match text and team voice chat adjusted for new players. Text chat set to OFF, voice chat set to ON.

HERO UPDATES

TANK

D.Va: Movement speed penalty reduced from 40 to 30%. Projectile speed increased from 40 to 50.
Doomfist: Wall stun duration decreased.

DAMAGE

Magnetic Grenade: Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds.
Endothermic Blaster: Slow effect decreased from 40 to 30%. Ultimate cost decreased 10%.

SUPPORT

Biotic Grenade: Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds.
Immortality Field: Health decreased from 150 to 125. Cooldown increased from 23 to 25 seconds.

BUG FIXES

General fixes for audio, Hero Mastery, and other issues. Map fixes for Antarctic Peninsula, New Junk City, Route 66, and Samoa.
