Fortnite – How does Reboot a Friend Work?

Starting December 14, The Fortnite Reboot a Friend Beta Program is starting. Reboot a Friend allows you to acquire prizes for playing Fortnite with companions that haven't played in some time! With Chapter 2 - Season 5 well in progress, presently's an incredible opportunity to select qualified amigos to assist with Quests and Bounties.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

HOW TO PARTICIPATE Visit https://raf.fortnite.com/ and follow the directions to login with your Epic account, then invite friends who have not played Fortnite in 30 days or more (each, a “Lapsed Player”) to play Fortnite with you. For clarity, if you participate in the program as a Lapsed Player, you will not be able to later participate as a Participant.

HOW LONG IS THE REBOOT A FRIEND EARLY ACCESS TEST?

The Reboot a Friend Beta is available from December 14, 2020 at 3 am ET through January 4, 2021 at 3 am ET.

HOW DO I GET REWARDS?

Players invitees and selected friends can unlock rewards after playing games with rebooted friends. Rewards will be granted to your account within seven days. Both players receive the same awesome rewards after playing games together! See below.

WHY CAN’T I REBOOT MORE THAN ONE FRIEND?

We encourage you to play Fortnite with all of your friends, but for the purpose of this test, we’re limiting the program to one “rebooted” friend. If this changes we’ll let you know!

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REBOOT A FRIEND REWARDS?

You and your friends unlocked the rewards? Awesome! The prizes will be issued to all winners within 7 days.

WHEN WILL REBOOT A FRIEND COME OUT OF BETA?
