Map Service
Dev's comment: We've decided to introduce a new rotation strategy after careful consideration of player feedback regarding our map rotation system.
Rotations will now vary between map selection and random map regions.
Sanok will no longer be a permanent fixture in random map regions. Instead,
Rondo will now be available in the Normal Match rotation pool. This update aims to reduce split queues while offering players the flexibility to play the new map at their convenience.
PC players can expect map changes every Wednesday at 2 AM UTC, while Console players can expect the same every Thursday at 7 AM UTC.
New Map: Rondo
The long-awaited Rondo has arrived with Update 27.1! This 8x8 km map supports up to 100 players and features ascenders, fuel pumps, and the recall system. Rondo is divided into distinct regions, offering a blend of traditional and contemporary aesthetics.
Main Areas
- Jadena City: A metropolis with skyscrapers, neon signs, and escalators for swift building transitions.
- Stadium: Once a hub for sporting events and concerts.
- Rin Jiang: Home to a floating restaurant and large ships.
- Tin Long Garden: Features waterfalls and stone mountains.
- NEOX Factory: An automotive factory producing electric vehicles.
- Test Track: A testing ground for vehicles.
- Fong Tun: Farming grounds for battle.
New Features
- Additional Starting Planes: Two starting planes will increase landing options.
- Destructible Bamboos: Enjoy destroying bamboos spread across Rondo.
- Escalators: Installed in Jadena City for faster transit.
- Turntable: Interactive music-playing turntables placed throughout Rondo.
- Fireworks: Launch fireworks available on the starting island and across the map.
New Weapons
JS9: A new 9mm submachine gun with high damage and stability, available only in Rondo.
Stun Gun: Temporarily disorients enemies, available only in Rondo.
New Vehicle: Blanc
Drive the new SUV, Blanc, with stats similar to other SUVs, available only in Rondo.
New Creatures
- Birds: Scattered in cages across Rondo, birds will cry when players are nearby.
- Fishes: Found in ponds of Yu Lin and Tin Long Garden.
New Item: Ghillie Suit (Forest)
Obtainable through Care Packages with a forest theme, available only in Rondo.
Recall System
Improvements include a 2.5-second casting time for looting enemy Blue Chips and adjustment in spawn rates for Blue Chip Towers and Transmitters.
World
Removal of 2023 PUBG Global Championship-themed decorations.
Ranked - Season 27
Leaderboard reset and new season rewards based on final Tier from previous Ranked season.
Clan System
New Clan Training feature allows private training sessions for Clan members.
Quality of Life Improvements
Various matchmaking and lobby feature enhancements.
Survivor Pass: Rondo
Introducing the new Survivor Pass: Rondo with revamped system updates.
