6.0.8 Patch Notes
The Elder Scrolls Online v6.0.8 includes several fixes for Antiquities – including some Leads not dropping properly – the addition of new Wayshrines in Western Skyrim, some adjustments for Harrowstorms, a fix for a framerate stutter that could occur when updating skill experience or rank, and more. The size of this patch is approximately 90MB.

Kyne’s Aegis Trial

  • Torturers will no longer attempt to feed on Lord Falgravn.


  • General
    • Fixed an issue in the Gamepad Excavation UI where you were unable to view a Tool’s information after viewing a Tutorial in the same Excavation.
    • Fixed issue where Gabrielle’s Bottle of Proving, the Antiquity used in the Antiquities tutorial quest, would show an empty “Zone:” field.
  • Dig Sites
    • Fixed an issue where entering a dig site are would not highlight the compass or allow you to use the Antiquarians Eye.
  • Excavation
    • Fixed an issue in the UI for Gamepad Mode where the Tool Info keybind couldn’t be used after opening the help overlay.
    • Updated the tooltips for Excavation abilities to more clearly indicate how much dirt they remove, in what shape, and how the abilities interact with one another and with the dig site.
  • Journal/Codex
    • Fixed an uncommon error message from the Antiquities journal that could appear when logging in for the first time.
    • Fixed issue where non-repeatable Antiquities would still show up in the Scryables tab as “Requires Lead” after being completed.
    • Fixed an issue that could occur after navigating to the Antiquity Codex directly from Excavation where you would have to press Back twice for it to function.
    • Hidden entries are now excluded from the filter search results in the journal.
  • Leads
    • The Leads for the following Antiquities will now drop properly from their intended sources:
      • Anvil of Old Orsinium
      • Heartland
      • Moth-Priest Cleansing Bowl
      • Prismatic Sunbird Feather
      • Silvenari Sap-Stone
      • Tri-Angled Truth Altar
    • Fixed an issue where Antiquity Leads were only being found in Treasure Chests with Simple locks. They can now be found in Treasure Chests of all lock difficulties, and Treasure Chests with tougher locks are more likely to have Leads in them.
  • Scrying
    • Scrying during the Antiquarian Art quest now has proper hint text telling you what to do.


  • Added two new Wayshrines along the northern coast of Western Skyrim, near the sites of the two northernmost Harrowstorm ritual sites.


  • Draugr in Midnight Barrow will no longer remain untargetable after they emerge.
  • Draugr in Dragonhome will really not become unattackable this time. Seriously.


  • Harrowstorms in Western Skyrim and Blackreach will now respawn much quicker.
  • The Harrowstorm daily quest now requires one Harrowstorm to be completed, down from three, and awards more gold and experience for completion.
  • Harrowstorms will no longer have a chance to get into a “stuck” state and prevent new storms from forming.


  • Bound in Blood: If your character dies in the Crypts, you will no longer be blocked from going through the Crypt Vault door.
  • Greymoor Rising:
    • Your character can now resurrect close to the final fight during this quest.
    • The Tower of the Wolf is now once again accessible and will look appropriate during certain moments of this quest.

Item Sets

  • Malacath’s Band of Brutality: Fixed an issue where this item was increasing the damage from Siege equipment.


  • Fixed an issue where you could revive in place using unintended ways.


  • The Prismatic Banner Ribbon now correctly displays the rainbow trail.
  • Fixed a visual issue where some ground textures could appear blurry until reloaded.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some textures to appear muddy and lower resolution on Mac and Stadia game clients.
  • Fixed an issue where characters could clip into their nameplates after transforming.


  • Fixed an issue that caused the audio from some consumables to not play.


  • Fixed an issue where you could attempt to alter various parts of your character when using an alliance change token. You’re only allowed to change your alliance.
  • Fixed an issue where some cards displayed while opening the Nightfall Crate would appear blank.
  • Fixed an issue where the Mournhold Packrat’s description did not inform you that purchasing the pet would increase inventory capacity.


  • Darkshade Caverns
    • You can no longer reflect your own summons when fighting Grobull the Transmuted so that you hit yourself. Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself!


  • Fixed a framerate stutter that could occur when updating skill experience or rank. This is something you would typically experience when killing a monster.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur if a non-combat pet tried to crouch before being fully loaded.


  • Improved the load time between logging in and reaching character select.
  • Fixed an issue where the Stadia Stream setting of 1440p resulted in the game incorrectly rendering at 1080p. The game will now render at 1440p when 1440p is requested.
  • Fixed issue that would cause the overscan, gamma adjust, and audio settings to reset every time you started the game in Gamepad Mode.


  • Fixed an issue that could prevent you from changing gamepad keybinds from the controls menu while automatic input switching was enabled.


  • Fixed a UI error that would occur after pressing Escape on a keyboard with Outfit Station changes pending.
6.0.7 Patch Notes
The Elder Scrolls Online v6.0.7 is a patch to prep for tomorrow’s launch on Stadia, and doesn’t include any public-facing fixes. There is a small download required, which is approximately 103MB. We are still planning for the next incremental patch with game fixes to be published on Monday, June 29.
6.0.6 Patch Notes
The Elder Scrolls Online v6.0.6 includes several fixes for Antiquities, including the issue where some Antiquity Encasements could have their visuals desync with their placement in an Excavation site, and a few different crash fixes. We also fixed the issue were you were not consistently receiving weapons after completing Maelstrom Arena or Dragonstar Arena on normal mode, among a few other additional fixes. The size of this patch is approximately 42MB.

Kyne’s Aegis Trial

  • Fixed an issue where only one treasure chest was active in Kyne’s Aegis at a time.
  • Lord Falgravn now takes reduced damage while Grievous Pulse is active and will end it early if his health is low.

    • Fixed an issue where the map’s Antiquity panel would not refresh correctly if you abandoned an Antiquity.
  • Dig Sites
    • Adjusted an Antiquity Dig Site near Alinor in Summerset to better encompass all of its possible Antiquity locations.
    • Adjusted the shape of an Antiquity Dig Site encompassing Cat’s Eye Quay in Khenarthi’s Roost, to better contain all possible Antiquity locations.
  • Excavation
    • Fixed an issue where some Antiquity Encasements – particularly the large, gold-filigree’d treasure chest – could have their visuals desync with their placement in an Excavation site.
    • Fixed an issue where getting kicked out of an Antiquity excavation due to combat would lock up the UI and prevent you from moving properly.
  • Journal/Codex
    • Shortened the width of Antiquity journal category labels so they don’t disappear before wrapping.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the codex entry listing from scrolling when using the mouse wheel to scroll through an Antiquity’s codex documents.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the Antiquity journal’s list selection from resetting properly when leaving the journal specifically in Gamepad mode.
  • Scrying
    • Scrying while mounted will no longer cause any camera issues.
    • Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in the Scrying’s exit dialogue by bringing up the Tutorials screen while attempting to exit.
    • Fixed an issue that could leave your Scrying UI in a bad state if you left Scrying during the outro.
    • Fixed issue where the Scrying UI would occasionally show the “turns remaining” countdown too early.
    • Removed some Scrying ability tooltips which mistakenly included cast time and target when viewed from the Scrying UI.
    • Made some adjustments to prevent unnecessary head movement in first person view while Scrying.
    • Your camera will no longer zoom in when using the mouse wheel while Scrying.
    • Fixed an issue where finishing a Scry would always leave you in third person view, even if you started Scrying in first person view.


  • Fixed a server crash that could occur in Western Skyrim while playing with/against pets.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur while fighting during a Harrowstorm event.


  • The shivering Nord is no longer shivering and naked on the Morthal docks. We hooked him up with some clothes beyond a simple loincloth.

World Bosses

  • Ysmgar will no longer move at ludicrous speed.


  • Draugr in Dragonhome will no longer remain untargetable after entering combat.


  • Digging Up Trouble: The note associated with this quest now appears when you are “Digging Up Trouble” in the Mining Operations Office.


  • Fixed an issue where some audio was missing from the Frostbite Spider pet, the Skald-Muse Fledgling Gryphon pet, and the Legion Zero Charger mount.


  • Fixed an issue where items at a vendor may not use the correct quality color for entries.
  • Fixed an issue which caused Maelstrom weapons to not always drop for eligible players when completing Maelstrom Arena on normal difficulty.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Master’s weapons to not always drop for eligible players when completing Dragonstar Arena on normal difficulty.


  • Fixed rare crash that could occur when using bows.
  • Fixed a rare crash within the game’s particle system.


  • Fixed an issue that caused Japanese subtitles to not display correctly during the Greymoor introduction video.

Gamepad Mode

  • Fixed a UI error that could occur when selling items to a Fence.

Russian Game Client

  • Added support for some additional Cyrillic characters.
  • Fixed the positioning for the “Show Offline” filter in the Friends/Guild Roster so it doesn’t overlap the search box in Russian.
