Patch Highlights

  • Catapults
    • Introducing Catapults! Get in and launch yourself into the sky to travel across the map at incredible speed.
  • New Weapon: Light Machine Gun (LMG)
    • The LMG is now available and will only drop from Loot Goblins and Legendary Chests.
      • “The LMG is a legendary weapon that exceeds at mid range combat. With its massive clip size the LMG can pin enemies down if they’re in cover or lay waste to them if they’re in the open.”
      • Only drops at Legendary rarity from Loot Goblins and Legendary Chests.
  • Updated Forges
    • Moved the Ice Haven Forge to a new building on the ice lake
      • The Ice Haven Forge now resides in a unique building in the middle of the frozen lake. This location is not only more scenic, but also provides more variety to Forge buildings.
    • Updated Crossing Forge
      • The Forge Crossing has been updated to better fit the theme of the area.

 Gameplay

  • Weapons
    • Arbalest
      • Reload time increased from 1s to 2s.
    • Sniper Rifle
      • Unscoped accuracy reduced by 20%.
  • Abilities
    • Healing Totem
      • Cooldown time increased from 40/35/30/25 to 44/40/36/32.
  • Talents
    • Entrapment
      • Reduced duration from 1.5s to 1s.
    • Pincushion
      • Reduced damage amplification from 30% to 25%.
  • Loot lockouts only apply to friendly players.

 Quality of Life Improvements

  • Content
    • Mount Emotes
      • Each type of mount will have a unique emote.
      • Players can trigger the mount emote by pressing:
        • Left D-Pad then L1/LB then Triangle/Y on console
        • “V” then “M” on PC
    • Weapon Polishes
      • Common, Rare, Epic texture update
      • Added gun parts animation, updated VFX and SFX to enhance shooting experience
      • Updated Shotgun, Slug Rifle, and Heirloom Rifle model
      • Updated weapon icons to match the texture and model change
    • Projectiles and bullets now have a clear “whiz by” sound the trajectory passes the player nearby. Players should now better know when they are being shot at.

UI

  • Updated Forge Menu
    • We have updated the Menu while using the Forge to have the Forge options on the left of the screen as a vertically scrolling menu.
  • End-of-Match Lobby
    • We have updated the End-of-Match Lobby to give players a better sense of how they are progressing with the Battle Pass and Classes during a match.
  • Game Menu – Inventory and loadout update
    • We added a new tab in the start menu/inventory that will allow players to view their Talents mid-match. This will be good for experimenting with new talents and general clarity when playing a match.
  • Added a “What’s New” pop-up which appears when launching the game.
  • Added Rotating Game Tips.
  • Rankings will now be visible on the Play screen
    • Queue Ranks and win count have been moved to the Play screen and can be seen over the corresponding queue.
  • Updated queue selection art.
  • Added Down and Elimination Confirm animations on Crosshair.
    • We have added better clarification as to whether a player has been chickened or eliminated.
  • Add the ability to rotate 3D items in the following screens:
    • Acquisition
    • Armory
    • Armory Detail
    • Battle Pass
    • Shop
  • Updated Assassin Lobby Preview Pose.
  • Account Linking
    • Players will now be prompted to link their accounts to a Hi-Rez account when opening the game. This is in preparation for exciting features coming with future patches!

 Environment

  • Added new Campsite locations around the map.

 BUG Fixes

  • Art
    • Addressed an issue where the Privateer Warrior’s pants clip into his coat when he jumps and uses potions.
  • Environment
    • Addressed an issue where some windows could not be vaulted through in the northern snow cemetery point of interest.
    • Players can now vault through the double windows in the large building on the eastern side of Old Manor.

Gameplay

  • Once a teammate leaves a match, their marker will no longer be visible by teammates.
  • Once the Hidden ability has been interrupted by reloading or shooting, the icon will no longer give the appearance that the ability is still in use.
  • The loot lockout symbol that appears when other players loot items will no longer be visible through walls or other obstacles.
  • The Ice Haven Forge’s active area will now be visible and the Hammer will now move while the Forge is in use.
  • Fixed an issue where Loot Goblins were impervious to damage briefly after spawning.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not jump while using Potions.

System

  • Fixed an issue where Gamma settings would return to default if the level is reduced to 3 or lower.
  • The Inventory screen will now close when the Inventory keybind is pressed a second time.
  • Fixed an issue where pressing the VGS keybind would cause the Class Selection screen to appear while in the Zeppelin. This fix will allow players to emote and spray while in the Zeppelin.
  • Fixed an issue where the Sniper Rifle scope would get stuck on screen when switching spectator targets.
  • Fixed an issue where the login screen was displaying the wrong version of the game.

UI

  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect number of party members were being displayed on the Social menu.
  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 where options would get stuck on the screen while playing the Tutorial.
  • Fixed an issue on Xbox One where a button callout for “Back” was displayed on the safe frame screen and the “Match Found” screen.
  • Addressed an issue on console where the inventory screen could get stuck on the screen while in the Zeppelin.
  • Fixed an issue where friends’ Avatars could not be seen on the Social menu.
