Path of Exile – Kalandra League All Hotfixes | 3.19.0e

3.19.0e Patch Notes

Along with a few bug fixes, this patch improves the rewards from league reflections at the Lake of Kalandra and changes the cost of Harvest crafts.

Lake of Kalandra Changes

  • Increased the quantity of Splinters found in Breach Hands in Breach Reflections at all difficulties.
  • Reflection of the Dream no longer causes the Breach to open and close 50% faster, instead now spawning more monsters.
  • Reflection of the Breachlord now causes the Breach to open and close 30% slower, to provide more time to kill Breachlord.
  • Increased the chance for Imprisoned Monsters to have additional Essences in Essence Reflections at all difficulties.
  • Increased the quantity of Artifacts dropped by Monsters in Expedition Reflections at all difficulties.
  • Increased the quantity of Currency Shards from Harbingers in Harbinger Reflections at all difficulties.
  • Increased the quantity of Splinters found from Legion Encounters in Legion Reflections at all difficulties.
  • Increased the duration of Shrine Buffs on Players in Shrine Reflections at all difficulties.
  • The number of Rats spawned in Beyond Reflections has been reduced for performance reasons. The chance to spawn a Beyond Boss in these Reflections has been increased to compensate, and the quantity of Tainted Currency dropped by Beyond Demons in Beyond Reflections has also been increased at all difficulties.
  • The Reflecting Mists now only displays item slots when you’re able to place an Amulet or Ring into them, to avoid confusion.

Harvest Changes

  • The Harvest craft that fractures a random modifier on an item with at least 5 modifiers can now be used on an item with at least 4 modifiers.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Reforge a Rare item, being more/less likely to receive the same modifier” Harvest crafts had their descriptions backwards. We have also increased the more/less likely chances of these two crafting outcomes, as they were lower than we intended them to be.

Rebalanced the Lifeforce cost of various Harvest crafting options:
  • Crafts that reforge a Rare item with random modifiers, including an Attack or Caster modifier now have a cost of 75 (previously 125).
  • Sacrificing a Corrupted Map to create a new Corrupted Map of the same tier and rarity now has a cost of 200 (previously 400).

3.19.0d Patch Notes

This patch improves item drops, including those from Map bosses and Rare monsters with 2-4 Archnemesis modifiers, reduces Harvest monster life, and includes a few bug fixes and improvements. Tomorrow, the Lifeforce cost of Harvest crafts will be reduced, and rewards from league reflections in the Lake of Kalandra will be improved.

Item Drop Changes

  • Map Bosses now drop fewer items, but of substantially better rarity, resulting in more unique items being found from Map Bosses.
  • Globally increased the base drop rate of unique items by 33%.
  • Globally increased the base drop rate of currency items by 25%.

Archnemesis Changes

  • Increased the item rarity for monsters with two Archnemesis modifiers, and substantially increased the item rarity for monsters with three and four Archnemesis modifiers. With the item drop conversion system, this results in a lot more powerful drops when hitting certain combinations of modifiers. This also results in a lot more Unique items from monsters with three or four modifiers.

Harvest Changes

  • Reduced the life of Primal Blisterlord by 23%, Primal Crushclaw by 15%, and Vivid Devourer by 15%, in order to bring them more in line with other Harvest monsters.
  • Reduced the life of all other Harvest monsters, bringing the Harvest monster life more in line with monsters found in other league content.
  • These changes do not affect the Spectred versions of these monsters.

Improvements and Bug fixes

  • Kirac will no longer offer the “Slay the Beyond Boss” mission, due to irreconcilable difficulties encountered with the Beyond revamp.
  • Fixed an issue where strongboxes could sometimes drop no items. Strongboxes will now always drop at least one item.
  • Fixed an overflow issue from socketing exceptional support gems in the Vaal Caress Unique Gloves, causing them to behave as they were level 10 gems.
  • Fixed a bug where unlimited hideout decorations could sometimes not be placed.
  • Fixed a bug where Cartographer’s Strongboxes in the Lake of Kalandra would mostly drop Tier 1 Maps.
  • Fixed a bug where monsters could sometimes get stuck in terrain in the Lake of Kalandra.
  • Fixed a bug where the Iridescent Weapon Effect did not propagate to your off-hand.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur with the Bony Arachnomorph Pet microtransaction.

3.19.0c Patch Notes

This patch modifies the amount of life provided to monsters by Archnemesis modifiers as well as the number of modifiers that can be found on them. We’ve also improved the rewards in Lake of Kalandra, Harvest Lifeforce, and general item drops, as well as fixed a few bugs. Other changes mentioned in yesterday’s news item are still being implemented.

Archnemesis and Rare Monster Changes

  • Lowered the incremental life bonus that Rare and Magic monsters receive from having additional Archnemesis modifiers, and increased the base life bonus that Rare and Magic monsters receive.
  • The overall result of this change is that rare and magic monsters with one Archnemesis modifier have unchanged life on average. Rare monsters with two or three modifiers have 15% less life on average, and Rare monsters with four modifiers have unchanged life on average.
  • Monsters can no longer be found with three Archnemesis modifiers during the campaign, and the likelihood of encountering a monster with two modifiers during the campaign has been reduced.
  • Monsters can no longer be found with the Empowering Minions modifier during the campaign.
  • Reduced the amount of extra life that Essences provide to monsters. Overall, a monster with a single Screaming/Shrieking Essence now has ~30% less life than before.
  • Reduced the amount of life that Red Beasts have by ~12%.
  • For Essence monsters and Red Beasts in Maps with two or three Archnemesis modifiers, the above changes are in addition to the 15% less life on average change.
  • Betrayal Research encounters no longer spawn packs of Rare monsters, though Scientists in the encounter are still found as Rare monsters.
  • Betrayal Intervention and Transportation encounters no longer spawn rare monsters during the encounter.

Lake of Kalandra Changes

  • Increased the likelihood of being able to make multiple choices at a Mirrored Tablet in early yellow Maps.
  • It is now possible to make three choices at a Mirrored Tablet in red Maps.
  • Massively increased the chest rewards from non-league encounters throughout the Lake, particularly at higher map levels and difficulties.

Other Changes

  • Increased the Lifeforce yield in Harvest encounters in lower Map tiers.
  • Increased the likelihood of finding higher-level armour base types. This is quite impactful, resulting in around 25% more high armour base types dropping.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where first acquiring Voltaxic Sulphite in the Lake of Kalandra could cause you to be unable to access the Mine Encampment. Characters who encountered this issue before this patch should be able to access the Mine Encampment after acquiring more Voltaxic Sulphite.
  • Fixed a bug where the Mirrored Tablet could spawn in doorways.
  • Fixed a client crash related to Map item hovers.

This was a restartless deploy on the servers.

3.19.0b Patch Notes

  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to identify corrupted items.
  • Fixed a bug where Orb of Horizons was able to reforge a Map into one not currently found on the Atlas.
  • Fixed a bug where Mageblood could sometimes fail to apply flask effects to you, for example, when swapping out an equipped flask for another.
  • Fixed a bug where “Minions have increased Movement Speed” could be rolled twice on Rings.
  • Fixed a bug where Galvanic Field could be purchased from Clarissa by the Templar instead of Lightning Conduit.
  • Fixed a bug where the Scent of Blood Notable Atlas Passive Skill was not working correctly.
  • Adjusted the maximum supported aspect ratio to 12:5 (slightly larger than before, so that players that were very close to 21:9 don’t get black bars).
  • Updated the description of the Form the Lake Challenge to clarify it requires obtaining three specified items, rather than four.

3.19.0 Hotfix 2

  • Fixed a bug where portals for Heists and Grand Heists were incorrectly closing when returning to or leaving The Rogue Harbour.

3.19.0 Hotfix 1

  • Fixed a bug where negative life regeneration could cause you to die in the Rogue Harbour
  • Fixed a bug where the experience penalty applied to the Lake of Kalandra before it was meant to
  • Fixed a bug where Lightning Conduit would hit the same shocked target multiple times when combined with Chain Reaction and Trap Support
