Greetings everyone, we’ve been seeing some frequently discussed issues and while many of you have kindly helped each other not everyone has found the same workarounds or troubleshooting for the issue they are experiencing.

Low Framerate

  • Update graphic card drivers
  • Update Windows
  • Turn off any optimization programs, like GeForce Experience or Intel Turbo Boost Max
  • Unplug/turn off any second monitor, especially those that don’t support HDR
  • Make sure Dynamic Super Sampling is turned off or set very low (found in Nvidia Control Panel under 3D Settings)
  • Adjust in-game graphical defaults (High/Max/Low etc.) to test FPS
    – If you find one of those settings significantly increases FPS then try changing each graphical settings one by one to see if a specific graphical option (like textures or anti-aliasing) was the main FPS detractor

My specs are much higher than recommended for this game and yet I still have to run it at 800×640 to have 60fps

I’m running a Acer Predator Helios 300 15.6\” Notebook, 2.80 GHz Core i7-7700HQ, 1 TB HDD + 256 GB SSD, 16 GB DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 and I have all my settings set to low.

All my drivers are up to date and I set Sekiro to high priority but this still only makes a small difference.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Your laptop is more than enough to play this game smoothly.
I suggest you to scale your resolution to 1080p.
      Sometimes low resolution is worst.
