In the Betrayal League you’ll have the option to complete 40 new challenges and earn exclusive microtransaction rewards. At 12, 24 and 36 challenges you will earn the Betrayal Helmet Attachment, Betrayal Aura Effect and Betrayal Cloak respectively. Completing challenges also grants you pieces of the Betrayal Totem Pole Hideout decoration.
When Path of Exile: Betrayal launches on December 7th, you’ll be able to check out the full list of challenges to complete for these rewards.
After the Delve League ends, your hideouts will merge with their parent leagues. If you have hideouts in both leagues, whichever hideout has the most decorations will be the one that remains in the parent league. The other will be reclaimed. This part is the same type of merge we do at the end of every challenge league.
The Betrayal launch will introduce the new unified hideout system which means that you’ll have one hideout that is shared across all leagues and all characters on your account. During launch, we will save one hideout from each tileset, and set your account’s current hideout to the one with the most decorations. If you have multiple hideouts with the same tileset, the one with the most decorations will be kept and the others reclaimed. You will then be able to toggle between your different tilesets using the new interface that will be available to you. There will be many new hideouts to discover and decorate too. We will store the decorations placed in each tileset you have unlocked so you can easily switch between them.
Any decorations that you have will only be usable in one tileset at a time which means that some may be missing from other tilesets if they’re used in multiple.
