A few months ago, a bug related to Champion Quest resets prevented console players from earning up to two possible Diamond Chests. This wasn’t cool with us, and we want to make things right. We’re giving console players a simple way to unlock those free chests in the 1.2 Update.
In 1.2, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch players will have access to two special quests. Play 10 games to unlock a free Diamond Chest, and get 250 eliminations to unlock another. These quests will be available until the 1.3 Update.
In addition, Xbox One and Switch players will earn 2x Abyssal Shards for the duration of 1.2, since they received the 1.1 Update late. PS4 players will earn 2x Abyssal Shards for one week.
