February's right around the corner, meaning it's time for another list of upcoming games. In our opinion, this month is really strong, possibly one of the best of this half of the year. Especially if you're into RPGs. With that being said, let's go ahead and get into this one. Kicking things off for the month, we've got Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The long-awaited title is finally going to be released in the West after almost a decade since the game was originally revealed. If you're unaware of this title, it's an action RPG where you select from a roster of Skyfarers to form a cohesive party embarking on an adventure. Each character has their own unique weapons, skills, and combat styles. Next up, we have Persona 3 Reloaded. After almost 20 years, it has returned with a load of updates. The dorm now offers expanded activities, and the battle mechanics have been updated to resemble that of Persona 5. If you missed out on the original Persona 3 or you're just feeling nostalgic and want to give it another go, you'll be able to do so on all platforms on February 2nd. Following that, we have Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Taking place in the same universe as the Batman Arkham series, the sinister villain Brainiac has taken control of all the members of the Justice League, aside from Wonder Woman, who must now work together with the Suicide Squad to stop Brainiac from taking over the world. The game offers four playable characters to choose from, each with their own unique weapons and combat styles. It also features a skill tree progression system and co-op gameplay for up to four players. This game will be releasing on all major platforms on February 2nd. Up next on the list is Helldivers 2. This time, they've decided to go with a third-person perspective, which makes it feel like you've been dropped off in a Starship Troopers movie. As a Hell Diver, the galaxy's last line of defense, your job is to slay hostile enemies and protect freedom. The game features multiplayer gameplay for up to four players. You'll be able to enlist as a Hell Diver and exterminate bugs on PS5 and PC on February 8th. Following that, we have Banishers: Ghost of New Eden. This game is an action RPG that has similar gameplay mechanics to those of the God of War games. The story revolves around two Ghost Hunters, Ana and Red, who have been tasked to investigate the small community of New Eden, which just so happens to be haunted. During investigations, things take a turn for the worst, and Ana gets turned into a ghost. While playing, you'll have access to both Ana and Red, which you can seamlessly swap between during combat. If you're interested in vanquishing evil spirits, you can do so on all platforms on February 13th. Next on the list is Skull and Bones. This one has had a rough history, with multiple delays and over 120 million sunk into it. But they've still managed to keep the game afloat. In this pirating adventure, you assume command of a customizable pirate ship and have the option to navigate the Indian Ocean during a solo player campaign or participate in PvP battles. The game will be releasing on all major platforms on February 16th. Up next, we have Mario Vs Donkey Kong. This one is another game harking back to the classic days. In this one, Donkey Kong has stolen a bunch of little Mario figurines, and now you have to collect them back. The adventure spans various environments, including lava-filled areas and classic construction sites. With five distinct level types, the primary objective is for Mario to retrieve a key, unlock a door, and secure the mini Mario toy at the end. Expert levels are also included for a challenge. You can pick this one up on the Switch on February 16th. Following that, we have The Thaumaturge. This one is an isometric turn-based RPG taking place in Warsaw during 1905. You take on the role of Victor Shulski, who's been drawn back home by family matters. The story is driven by the choices you make, and you'll even be able to influence other characters to bend them to your will. The game revolves around the city of Nale, a hub of magical studies and intrigue. Players embark on a journey as realm walkers, navigating a world touched by magic and suspended animation known as the Pale. If you're up for solving mysteries and vanquishing hooligans, you can do so on all platforms on February 20th. Up next, we have Pacific Drive. This one is a roguelike driving survival game set in the Olympic exclusion zone of the Pacific Northwest. You have to traverse the world on foot or in your customizable station wagon, utilizing your garage as a base of operations. Repair your vehicle on the go and collect energy cores to progress through levels. The game offers a unique atmosphere as the world is in some sort of apocalypse, and all you've got is a station wagon that looks like it's straight up out of a Ghostbusters movie. You can take this one out for a spin on PS5 and PC on February 22nd. We have Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This is the second part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake in a planned trilogy. You'll continue the journey with Cloud as he leaves the city of Midgar. The combat system from the first part remains and the world is completely open for you to explore. You'll also gain access to Golden Saucer and the vast amount of fun mini-games that come with it. This game will be exclusively released on PS5 on February 29th. In terms of bonus games, we have Dungeonborn. This one is a dungeon crawler game offering players an immersive adventure through perilous underground labyrinths. Players navigate through traps, monsters, and hidden treasures while solving puzzles and uncovering secrets. You have the option of weapons and spells to take on monsters and bosses. This game will be available on February 2nd. Lastly, we have Nightingale. This is an open-world survival SL adventure game where you and your friends can venture forth through portals to other realms. The game takes place in an alternate reality with a gas lamp fantasy theme. The city of Nale serves as a hub of magical studies and intrigue. As realm walkers, you shape your journey and discover the mysteries of its fantastical setting. You can explore the Fay realm on PC on February 22nd.
